Best drivers in the Pantanal Many of which have 25 years of experience. There are so many different levels when it comes to a pilot. Our drivers work cohesively with our guides and they understand each other. They have the best eyes for spotting jaguars and incredible knowledge when it comes to understanding behaviours and tracking. One thing is finding a jaguar, but once they disappear into the thick bushes, it is our job to predict where they come out
115 Horsepower motors Believe us, the power of the motor is important. It means if we need to rush to a sighting we can arrive before everyone. This can be the difference between seeing a kill or arriving late and seeing a tale disappear into the bushes!
Perfect size This means they are easier to maneuver in the narrow rivers and easier to position for the best possible angles! Some of the bigger boats that fit in larger groups have a lot of difficulty getting in the right positions
Room to move freely You can get up out of your seat, walk to the front of the boat, to the back, or to the sides depending on where you want to angle yourself. In many other boats on the river, your seat is your seat for the whole day and you cannot move around as you wish, simply because there is no room to do so.
Comfortable chairs You are in the boat all day so comfort is a must! We have you covered! The chairs also swivel which is a bonus as you can rotate your chair based on where you want to look compared to other boats where the seat position is fixed.
Roofs When the sun gets hot, we will put the covers over which will cool us down and protect us from the sun.
Cooler box with unlimited water and soft drinks You will never go thirsty in the heat with us! (Believe it or not, many hotels charge extra water and soft drinks)
Radio calls Our team is in contact with every boat from the hotel on a closed frequency. Meaning as soon as one of our boats has a sighting we will be the first to know about it!
Option to fish as well With us, we can take fishing rods, maybe at lunchtime you want to catch some fish, you can take it back to the hotel and the team will prepare it any way you want!
We don’t cut corners with fuel use We will drive as far as we can to find you jaguars and back again! Believe it or not, many companies avoid travelling far and stay at many sightings or jaguars sitting behind a bush in order to save on fuel.
